Its Semiconductor Parts segment provides ceramic packages for surface mount devices, ceramic multilayer packages, metallized products, optical communication ceramic packages, and organic multilayer packages. Kyocera’s Applied Ceramic Products segment provides photovoltaic generating systems, solar cells/modules, cutting tools, micro drills, dental and orthopedic implants, and jewelry. 

The company’s Electronic Device segment offers ceramic chip and tantalum capacitors, timing devices, voltage controlled oscillators, RF modules, ceramic resonators/filters, thermal and LED printheads, amorphous silicon drums, liquid crystal displays, and connectors.
