RFID, LTD. Acquires Exclusive Rights to RFID.US

DENVER, CO, (NAMC) - RFID LTD. (OTC:RFDL) has acquired exclusive license for use of the domain name RFID.US. The company will use the domain to host a blog focused on the topics of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and consumer privacy.

In a format unique to blogging, an open "entry-posting" invitation will be given to leaders of RFID privacy groups and leaders within the RFID industry. This open communication is anticipated to create a source of information regarding RFID technology which is unbiased and all-encompassing.

"We purchased exclusive license to the RFID.US domain hoping that the associated blog becomes ground zero for privacy concerns associated with RFID in the U.S.," said Nicholas Chavez, president of RFID, LTD. "The near-real-time nature of communication inherent in blogging will help the RFID industry rationalize and address consumer privacy concerns in a much more timely and accurate fashion."

The RFID.US blog will eventually be segmented into differing sections associated with the technology, giving consumers the ability to access topical information immediately, without searching for individual posts.

To defray associated cost, RFID LTD. is offering opportunities to sponsor the RFID.US blog to other privacy-conscious RFID companies.

In the future, the blog will include podcasts and other media downloads free of charge to those interested in the progress of RFID technology.
