NEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) - These are stocks that you should know for Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Some stocks may have been included in the morning report. Apple Computer (NASDAQ: AAPL) as of this morning is offering downloads of NBC television shows. This just adds more content and value to Apple’s iPod empire. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) looks to be teaming up with Time Warner’s (NYSE: TWX) America Online, if the deal goes through America Online will be dropping Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) as it’s primary search engine partner so they can enjoy a greater revenue stream from keyword advertising. Fedex ((NYSE: FDX) is set to increase rates for FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery by an average of 3.9 percent starting Jan. 2 Altera (NASDAQ: ALTR) still expects fourth-quarter sales between $286 million and $297 million, but raises it’s gross margin to 66.5 percent, up from previous guidance of 66 percent. Sears (NASDAQ: SHLD) posts sharply lower profits compared to last year, but still beat Wall Street estimates. Sweet Success Enterprise (Pink Sheets SWTS) appoints former Wal-Mart Chief Operating Officer Jim Haworth to it’s Board of Directors. General Motors (NYSE: GM) may be forced to add one of it’s largest shareholders Kirk Kerkorian to it’s board in the very near future. Which may be very good news for General Motor shareholders. Seamless Wi-Fi (OTCBB: SLWF) has acquired FMS NetCheck software from Five Mountain Solutions.
