Steven Manz, CFO of Hercules Offshore Suffers Stroke(NAMC) - The Chief Financial Officer of the Houston, Texas based Hercules Offshore, Inc. (NASDAQ:HERO) has suffered an apparent stroke according to a report from the company on Tuesday. Steven A. Manz, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, suffered an apparent stroke on December 28, 2006 and he was hospitalized in a Houston Texas area hospital for diagnostic analysis and treatment, but was released on December 31. According to the statement Manz is now recuperating at home but the company did add that it is not possible to predict when he will be able to return to work. Until that is determined the company is planning to appoint a qualified person as an interim CFO in his place.
