(NAMC) J. Kerry Clayton has retired from the board of directors of the specialized insurance products company Assurant, Inc. (NYSE:AIZ). His dearture was effective as of December 31, 2006 after serving one year as the vice chairman of the company.

The company has no plans on putting a new vice chairman in his place anytime in the near future. ,
