CANADA, (NAMC) - SunOpta Inc. (NASDAQ:STKL) has made a move management wise that the Company sees as a positive change within the company. They have appointed current Chief Operating Officer Steve Bromley to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of SunOpta Inc. which is effective February 1, 2007.

Bromley will succeed Jeremy Kendall who held that position for over 23 years, upon Kendall stepping down he will remain as Chairman of the Board and according to the company be very active in strategic development but the day to day duties will shift to Bromley.
