Flow International Corporation Taps Former Boeing HR VP For Board(NAMC) - Waterjet machines manufacturer Flow International Corporation (NASDAQ:FLOW) , stated on Friday that they have appointed former Boeing (NYSE: BA) Human Resources VP to the company's board of directors. He will serve as an independent board member as required by the Nasdaq. Mr. Calhoun was previously VP of Employee and Union Relations for Boeing. Prior to those positions with Boeing, in 1981 Mr. Calhoun was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Defense for civilian personnel policy and requirements; and in 1983 he was appointed Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Defense for force management and personnel. In 1985, President Reagan nominated him as Chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Authority, winning U.S. Senate confirmation to the post.
