James Leigh : Scottrade Looking To Show Online Investors That They Come FirstNEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) - As more first time investors are jumping into the stock market, online brokerage firms are doing what they can to not only attract the first time investors but also to attract those investors that currently use online brokerage services. From advertising to advertising and more advertising, online brokerage firms are doing what they can to send their message to the masses. From talking to "Chuck", a Charles Schwab campaign to throwing ETrade bricks at buildings, the firms are pulling out all the stops. Now Scottrade is getting to the core of what online investors want to hear, and that is customer service. Scottrade is launching their latest campaign called "Customers First" which will be hitting television and the Internet this week. This replaces their other ads that were not telling online investors what they want to hear. Customer Service is what separates one online brokerage firm from another, but it also holds true for the computer industry, just look at Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) at what poor customer service did to that company. I'm not saying that Scottrade is above the others but they are letting online investors know that they are customer service oriented and that is one of the keys of building a greater customer base.
