ExtendMedia Secures Additional Financing as Digital Advertising Grows

NEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) - Digital content service Company, ExtendMedia, unveiled that the Company has received $12 million in venture capital funding in a Series B round led by TVM Capital. Past investors in ExtendMedia such as Atlas Venture and Venrock Associates took a second dip into this current funding round.

According to the Company this current round of financing follows a previous $11 million Series A round, bringing funding to a total of $23 million. The new funding is slotted to be used to help accelerate sales, marketing and product development efforts to meet the increasing market demand for both direct-to-consumer and ad-supported digital content businesses.

More venues such as Cinemas, Airports, Retail Stores, Health Clubs, Shopping Malls and even Medical Offices are beginning to utilize some sort of digital content to target the captive audience at their disposal.

One other digital content service provider that is expanding their horizons is Impart Media Group (OTCBB: IMMG), according to a recent news release the Company was joined by a former Wal-Mart Executive. Dynamic digital content is being woven slowly but surely into the advertising budgets of many marketers, as they are realizing that more people are out of the home more than ever, so reaching them in their out of home environment is a key component that complements their current marketing efforts.
