David Kingston : Allied Nevada Gold Begins Trading on the AMEX

NAMC Gold NewsLOS ANGELES, CA (NAMC) May 12, 2007 - This week the common shares of Allied Nevada Gold Corp have commenced trading on the American Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ANV.

Now here is the catch Allied Nevada Gold is 70% owned by Vista Gold Corp. (AMEX: VGZ) and its shareholders, this new entity is a combination of the property interests of Vista Gold Corp. and Carl and Janet Pescio. So the possibility of a slide in the stock price initially is there as shareholders of Vista Gold may look to book a profit and even short players may take advantage of that possibility.

Gold is in focus and over the course of 2007 we may see it break through the $800 mark, so longer term this newly traded company may prove to be a good call but waiting for a good entry point is the key.
