Image Entertainment and Graymark Productions Begin Principal Photography on Thriller ``Soul's Midnight''CHATSWORTH, CA, (NAMC) - Image Entertainment, Inc. The film, which is filming in Oklahoma City, is also being produced by Brothers Cleveland LLC. Accomplished stage, screen and Emmy Award-winning actor Armand Assante ("Paradise Alley," "Unfaithfully Yours," "Private Benjamin," "The Mambo Kings," "Fatal Instinct") has been signed to star in the film. Assante recently completed Image/Graymark film "Surveillance." The film is being directed by writer-producer-director-actor Harry Basil. In the film, Charles Milford and his pregnant wife, Alicia, are summoned to a small Texas town for the funeral of his father, whom Charles believed was already dead. Sensing all is not what it seems, Charles embarks on a search for the truth about his father's death. Charles soon learns he is the blood descendant of Saint George, the famed dragon slayer. When Alicia is kidnapped, Charles discovers he was lured to the town by a coven of vampires and their leader, Simon (Assante), who want his unborn child for an ancient ritual sacrifice called "Soul's Midnight." The dead will rise and walk the Earth again unless Charles can stop the evil that preys on his family.
