John St. Clair and Paul Lin Join Jones Day's Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES, CA, (NAMC) - John St. Clair and Paul Lin, veteran attorneys from Coudert Brothers, have joined the corporate practice in the Los Angeles office of Jones Day.

St. Clair will be focusing his practice on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He has extensive experience advising clients in the U.S. and abroad regarding U.S. securities laws, as well as representation in international, domestic corporate, commercial and contractual transactions including private financings, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

St. Clair was most recently a partner in Coudert's Los Angeles office, having opened and managed that firm's Denver office in the mid-1990s. He earned his undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Chicago and his law degree from Tulane University, where he was an editor of the Law Review.

As a corporate lawyer, Lin has represented and advised clients ranging from publicly traded multinational corporations to medium and small businesses in various industries. His principal areas of practice include cross-border joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital financing, corporate governance and general corporate advice. Lin is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

Lin was most recently an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Coudert Brothers and previously practiced at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton. His undergraduate degree is from the University of California at Berkeley and he earned his law degree from the McGeorge School of Law.
