ViaLogy Corp. Announces New Quantum Resonance Interferometry PatentsPASADENA, CA, (NAMC) - ViaLogy Corp., inventor and developer of active signal processing software, today announced the issuance of three new European patents, each validated in France, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and one additional US patent, for its Quantum Resonance Interferometry (QRI) technology. The new European patents are: "Method and Apparatus for Interpreting DNA Microarray Patterns," patent number EP 1 157 347 B1; "Method and Apparatus for Analyzing Hybridized Biochip Patterns Using Resonance Interactions," patent number EP 1 145 181 B1; and "Method and Apparatus for Monitoring Therapy Effectiveness," patent number EP 1 145 177 B1. The new US patent is "Technique for Analyzing Arrayed Signals Using Quantum Resonance Interferometry," U.S. Pat. No.6,963,806. These patents increase ViaLogy's patent portfolio to twenty-one patents issued worldwide. ViaLogy continues to file additional patent applications covering its fundamental technology, with more than 16 patent applications currently pending and intends to bolster its portfolio with further filings giving the company broader claim coverage. Dr. Sandeep Gulati, ViaLogy's chief scientific officer and an inventor on the patents commented, "Signal to noise analysis is pervasive in a high tech world. Applications of ViaLogy's tools enable scientists and business people to make better decisions based on a solid mathematical and signal processing foundation." ViaLogy(R) Quantum Resonance Interferometry is software or firmware for active signal processing of data. QRI's technology breakthrough is the enablement of accurate signal detection where the signal is above or far below background noise. Doing this in the data only, without changing the measurement hardware, allows users to cost effectively identify events that previously went undetected. About ViaLogy Corp. Founded in 1999, ViaLogy Corp., a privately held company located in Pasadena, California, develops and markets active signal processing solutions for high technology industries and business. ViaLogy's founders were senior scientists and managers in supercomputing and quantum computing at Caltech/NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. ViaLogy discovered and developed a revolutionary technology, Quantum Resonance Interferometry (QRI), which is broadly scalable to a wide range of measurement instrumentation and other applications.
