J.C. Penney Axes COO Catherine WestNEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) - One of America's largest department stores, right up there with Federated Department Stores (NYSE: FD), has terminated their Chief Operating Officer. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP), Mike Ullman III, made an announcement that the company has terminated Catherine West as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.
