(NAMC) The board of directors of the real estate investment trust, Public Storage, Inc. (NYSE:PSA), announced on Friday that long time board member  Robert J. Abernethy will be retiring from the board of directors of Public Storage on January 1, 2007.

Abernethy has been on the board of Public Storage since 1980.

Public Storage closed at $97.50 on Friday.
