Meridan Automotive Systems Inc Emerges From Chapter 11

CHICAGO, IL (NAMC) - One of the leading suppliers of technologically advanced front and rear end modules for the auto industry, Meridian Automotive Systems, Inc. has unveiled that its Plan of Reorganization that was previously confirmed by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, has become effective on Friday December 29, 2006.

This puts Meridian in the position to emerge from Chapter 11 and refinance the company for future growth. They began that with a deal that would give Meridan access to over $167 million once they emerge from Chapter 11 and that is being offered by Deutsche Bank.
