Los Angeles Venture Associations 14th Annual Investment Capital Conference Names Two Co-Chairs

(NAMC) -  One of the premiere annual west coast events called Los Angeles Venture Associations, or Lava for short, 14th annual Investment Capital Conference has namedtwo co-chairs for this years event. They have named Dennis McCarthy, managing director of B. Riley & Co., and Nevin Sanli, president of Sanli Pastore & Hill as cochairs of the event that will be held April 11 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

About the new Co-Chairs

Dennis McCarthy, formerly a senior investment banker with Prudential Securities, Drexel Burnham Lambert and EF Hutton & Co., joined B. Riley in 2004. His recent transactions include mezzanine financing for Ready Pac, a public offering for Pinnacle Entertainment and the merger of Hycor Biomedical with Stratagene.

Nevin Sanli is a co-founder of Sanli Pastore & Hill and has valued more than 1,000 businesses during his career. He specializes in fairness and solvency opinions, M&A opinions and stock option valuations and frequently speaks on business valuation to professional organizations.
