David Wong: DHL Makes Splash in China

CHINA, (NAMC)  One of the world's leading delivery companies is making a splash in China as they try to gain additional market share from United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS) and FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX). DHL has just leased over 200,000 square feet of industrial space from ProLogis (NYSE:PLD).

According to reports DHL will occupy a newly developed warehouse at ProLogis Park Lingang, located outside Shanghai near the Yangshan deepwater port complex.

This new location will give DHL the opportunity to use the facility as a primary distribution point in China as they try to expand their presence overseas.
