David Kingston: UTEK Corporation Sells off Subsidiary to Cyberlux Corporation

LOS ANGELES, CA, (NAMC) - Specialty technology transfer finance company UTEK Corporation (AMEX:UTK) has sold off one of its divisions to Cyberlux Corporation (OTCBB: CYBL). UTEK's LED lighting solutions subsidiary, Hybrid Lighting Solutions, was sold off in consideration for an undisclosed amount of Cyberlux restricted stock.

Since the terms of the deal were not disclosed to the public, which could be deemed as odd as they are both publicly traded companies and would have to disclose this at some point in the near future, we can not gauge whether this is a good transaction for UTEK or not.

So investors may want to look deeper into the transaction details before diviing in head first, perhaps the company will provide a little more clarity on the transaction at some point this week.
