LOS ANGELES, CA, (NAMC) - California real estate investment trust, Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (NYSE:SHO),has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer of the company. They have placed Steven Goldman as the new CEO of Sunstone and his tenure will be effective March 19, 2007. He will be replacing Robert A. Alter as Alter will become the Chairman of the Board.

Goldman was EVP of Acquisitions and Development for Global Hyatt Corporation where he was responsible for hotel development and oversight of Hyatt capital investment in assets the company owned or had ownership interests in worldwide.
